Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Typically 4–5 years of job-related, retail banking experience or a combination of experience and commensurate training.
• Proven ability to build and foster relationships with clients through proactive outreach and follow up.
• Ability to effectively engage and communicate with clients.
• Thorough knowledge of applicable bank and branch policies, procedures and support systems.
• Thorough knowledge of all retail products and services.
• Proven customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in participating in sales campaigns/promotions.
• Experience with using and demonstrating digital products and self-service technologies.
• Ability to explore and identify a customer’s true needs while leveraging a digital first mindset.
• Demonstrated advanced level of proficiency in making appropriate recommendations that meet customer’s needs both reactively and proactively.
• Experience in the financial services industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with clients through proactive outreach and follow up across channels.
• Educate clients on available deposit and loan products and services and recommend suitable solutions.
• Open new consumer and business accounts and process service requests and credit applications.
• Promote digital products and self-service tools to meet client needs.
• Collaborate with branch team members to deliver excellent client experiences.
