Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2-3 years of related retail experience.
• One year of management experience.
• Rotational assignments in other areas of the store beneficial.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and resolve conflicts.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and analyze basic financial info.
• Experience in mentoring team members.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct and supervise team members across store departments.
• Mentor and coach team; implement strategies to improve customer service and sales.
• Maintain store appearance, product presentation and adherence to Meijer standards.
• Staffing, selection and hiring to meet staffing needs.
• Promote succession planning and development opportunities for team members.
• Ensure a safe work environment and consistent attendance.
• Support training completion and adherence to company initiatives.
