Job summary

MFS in Boston is seeking a Digital Developer Co-op for Jan–Jun 2027. Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in a computer related field. MIS concentrations welcome
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Skills in Java, Python, C/C++, SQL
• Knowledge of databases (SQL and NoSQL) and data structures
• HTML, JavaScript and CSS a plus
• Clean, maintainable code with unit testing, source control, CI, automation
• Initiative, teamwork, and ability to manage multiple projects

Responsibilities

• Carries out programming functions: writes, debugs, and tests code following best practices
• Assist other developers or business analysts by performing analysis and/or writing code
• Collaborate with developers, testers, and system engineers to ensure quality improvements
• Engage in testing of applications and maintain documentation when needed
• Work within multiple projects and stages of the SDLC
