Job summary

MFS invites you to join our Investment Operations Co-op in Boston for Spring 2027. The six‑month program runs January 6 through June 25, 2027, Monday–Friday, 35–40 hours/week, designed for undergraduates in a co‑op program.

You will learn to elicit business requirements, analyze data, and translate findings into solutions within the SDLC, collaborating with business users and QA teams while building training materials and documentation.

Ability to effectively communicate with others, both verbally and in writing.
Analytical skills and demonstrated ability to make independent decisions.
Ability to develop creative solutions to meet business needs.
Ability to work individually and with a team.

Responsibilities

Performs analysis of business activities to determine business requirements.
Works with business users to understand requirements pertaining to industry, company, and customer needs.
Collaborates with the QA team in developing high level test plans.
Works with automated testing team for performance/load testing as well as regression testing.
Creates and maintains training materials and business documentation.
Supports cross-departmental projects and follows the MFS Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
Identify, analyze and interpret trends in large data sets.
