NDX Twin Cities Dental Laboratory in Falcon Heights, MN is seeking a Digital Dental Lab Technician Trainee. This entry-level, full-time role includes paid training, on-site work, and opportunities to advance in the dental field. No prior dental experience required; training will be provided to the right candidate.

Typical hours are 8:00am–4:30pm, Monday through Friday, with benefits including health, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance, plus 401K and tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Good computer skills – MS Office.
• CAD CAM experience preferred – up to 2 years in dental lab.

Responsibilities

• Enter patient data and scan stone models to create 3D virtual models.
• Import iTero, Trios and Sirona scans.
• Work with Rhino, 3Shape and E3 Scanners.
• Enter each case with correct material and tooth number.
• Adjust settings based on product types.
• Keep cases organized to maintain workflow.

We are seeking to fill a number of key positions within our organization including this Digital Dental Lab Technician Trainee opportunity at NDX Twin Cities Dental Laboratory in Falcon Heights, MN.

The regular hours for this position are from 8:00am to 4:30pm, Monday through Friday, and subject to change from time to time.

Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions of the Position:

• Read prescriptions and specifications received from dentist on each case
• Enter patient information and scan stone models to create 3D virtual models
• Import iTero scans, night guards and removable cases
• Import Trios scans and Sirona scans
• Work with Rhino, 3Shape and E3 Scanners
• Enter every case with proper material and tooth number
• Adjust settings accordingly to product types
• Keep cases organized so that the flow of work stays on schedule
• Design dental frameworks/restorations that provide the patient with the proper function of aesthetics
• Perform other duties as assigned and required

Skills and Abilities Required:

• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
• Must have good computer skills – working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• CAD CAM experience preferred – up to 2 years work experience or dental lab experience preferred
• Knowledge of 3Shape Software is preferred
• Knowledge of E3 Scanner is preferred

Minimum Education and Experience Required:

• Preferred: High school diploma or equivalent
• No experience required; paid training will be provided
