Job summary

NDX Twin Cities Dental Laboratory in Falcon Heights, MN is seeking an entry-level Digital Dental Lab Technician Trainee. Paid training and advancement opportunities offered in a full-time, on-site role from 8:00am to 4:30pm, Mon-Fri.

No dental experience? We'll train the right person; benefits include health, dental, vision, disability, life insurance and 401K with company contribution, plus tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Good computer skills – working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• CAD CAM experience preferred – up to 2 years in dental lab.
• Knowledge of 3Shape Software preferred.
• Knowledge of E3 Scanner preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent; paid training provided.

Responsibilities

• Read prescriptions and specifications from dentist for each case.
• Enter patient info and scan stone models to create 3D models.
• Import iTero scans, night guards and removable cases.
• Import Trios scans and Sirona scans.
• Work with Rhino, 3Shape and E3 Scanners.
• Enter each case with correct material and tooth number.
• Adjust settings to product types; keep workflow on schedule.
• Design dental frameworks/restorations for function and aesthetics.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

We are seeking to fill a number of key positions within our organization including this Digital Dental Lab Technician Trainee opportunity at NDX Twin Cities Dental Laboratory in Falcon Heights, MN.

The regular hours for this position are from 8:00am to 4:30pm, Monday through Friday, and subject to change from time to time.

Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions of the Position:

• Read prescriptions and specifications received from dentist on each case
• Enter patient information and scan stone models to create 3D virtual models
• Import iTero scans, night guards and removable cases
• Import Trios scans and Sirona scans
• Work with Rhino, 3Shape and E3 Scanners
• Enter every case with proper material and tooth number
• Adjust settings accordingly to product types
• Keep cases organized so that the flow of work stays on schedule
• Design dental frameworks/restorations that provide the patient with the proper function of aesthetics
• Perform other duties as assigned and required

Skills and Abilities Required:

• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
• Must have good computer skills – working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• CAD CAM experience preferred – up to 2 years work experience or dental lab experience preferred
• Knowledge of 3Shape Software is preferred
• Knowledge of E3 Scanner is preferred

Minimum Education and Experience Required:

• Preferred: High school diploma or equivalent
• No experience required; paid training will be provided
