Job summary

Flowers Foods, Inc. is seeking a Digital Content Marketing Manager to lead the company’s digital content strategy across brand websites, retailer platforms, digital shelf, and AI-powered search experiences.

You will own content standards, SEO/AEO, AI Visibility, and the processes for content development, governance and reporting. Collaborating with brand, ecommerce, technology, regulatory, legal teams and agencies, you will prioritize initiatives, manage timelines, and drive high‑quality content

Qualifications

• 7–10 years in digital marketing, ecommerce, content strategy, SEO, digital shelf, or related fields.
• Demonstrated ability to set strategy, define KPIs, analyze performance, and translate insights into business recommendations.
• Experience leading agency and vendor relationships and influencing cross-functional stakeholders without direct authority.
• Strong knowledge of SEO fundamentals, content optimization, structured data, content strategy, and digital analytics; AI Visibility experience preferred.
• Experience with digital shelf, ratings and reviews, content syndication, or related platforms; familiarity with Profound, Profitero, Bazaarvoice, or Syndigo is a plus.
• Strong project management, communication, prioritization, and executive presentation skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, digital marketing, or related field; advanced degree or certifications a plus.

Responsibilities

• Owns and executes the enterprise digital content strategy across brand websites, retailer platforms, digital shelf, and AI-powered search experiences.
• Leads SEO, AEO, and AI Visibility strategy and execution, including roadmaps, agency direction, and performance reporting.
• Manages relationships with SEO/AEO agencies and analytics partners and vendors living on content platforms.
• Defines and governs digital content standards, including copy, metadata, and imagery.
• Leads creation and optimization of new product content and retailer-specific content to boost discoverability and conversions.
• Owns website content workflows and prioritization for content launches and retailer requirements.
• Sets KPIs for digital content and AI Visibility; analyzes performance and delivers executive-readout recommendations.
• Leads digital shelf strategy and uses analytics to improve search rank, content completeness, and image quality.
• Monitors trends and translates opportunities into scalable standards and action plans.
• Provides strategic oversight to DAM+PIM operations and content updates.
• Owns ratings and reviews strategy across Flowers Foods brands to improve content quality and discoverability.
