Job summary

Walmart is seeking a leadership-focused professional to recruit, develop, and deploy qualified associates in Port Charlotte, FL. You will coordinate staffing activities, build relationships with stakeholders, and drive initiatives to meet customer and business needs while promoting a culture of belonging and continuous learning.

You will oversee plans, measure progress, and ensure compliance with Walmart policies, delivering results aligned with EDLP/EDLC strategies.

Qualifications

• 2 years’ of college; OR 1 year’s retail experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience; OR 2 years’ general work experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience.
• Firearms CBC and Firearms Training may be required for facilities that sell firearms.
• Associates must attend all job-required trainings and assessments (e.g., Academy trainings, Open Door trainings).

Responsibilities

• Recruiting and developing qualified associates to meet staffing needs and support company growth.
• Coordinate and oversee job-related activities by building relationships with key stakeholders.
• Support plans and initiatives to meet customer and business needs and communicate goals.
• Identify improvement opportunities and promote continuous learning.
• Provide supervision and development opportunities by hiring, training, mentoring and recognizing staff.
• Promote belonging and integrity while enforcing company policies and ethics.
