Job summary

Walmart is seeking a leader to recruit, supervise and develop qualified associates at our Bartow, FL location. You will coordinate staffing activities, build stakeholder relationships and ensure policy compliance while promoting a culture of belonging and high performance.

As a supervisor, you will mentor teams, drive results, and embrace continuous learning. The role includes a focus on customer service, EDLP/EDLC execution, and using data to inform decisions.

Qualifications

• 2 years’ of college; OR 1 year’s retail experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience.
• Associates will be required to attend and successfully complete trainings (Academy trainings, Open Door trainings, etc.).
• Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University.
• General work experience supervising 5 or more direct reports including performance management, mentoring, hiring and firing.

Responsibilities

• Recruiting and developing qualified associates to meet staffing needs and drive growth.
• Coordinate, complete and oversee job-related activities by building relationships with stakeholders.
• Provide supervision, mentorship and recognition to associates; promote belonging in the workplace.
