Ed Napleton Automotive Group is seeking an Internet Sales Consultant – Auto Alert in Oak Lawn at Ed Napleton Honda. The role focuses on handling incoming and outgoing internet leads, calls, and emails to drive sales and customer satisfaction.

• Mine Auto Alert database to identify opportunities and management of leads.
• Prospect follow-up calls and set appointments for sales.
• Contact customers based on current marketing incentives.
• Meet customers to discuss new/used car options vs repair costs.
• Follow up with customers to generate leads and close sales.
• Explain product performance and optional equipment to customers.
• Maintain a follow-up system to encourage repeat business and referrals.

Job Responsibilities:

• Mine Auto Alert database to identify customers overmileage on lease, or older vehicles pending costly repairs, where new vehicle purchase may make better sense.
• Prospect follow-up calls set appointments for sales, and gauge customer satisfaction.
• Contact customers based on current marketing incentives.
• Meets customers in service to discuss new/used car options vs. repair cost
• Follow-up with existing and potential customers to generate leads and close sales.
• Explaining product performance, application and benefits to prospects and describing all optional equipment available for customer purchase.
• Following up in a manner that results in the customer visiting the dealership.
• Following up on all unsold customers, and any special requests to be sure that all customer expectations are met.
• Maintaining a prospect and owner follow-up system that encourages repeat and referral business and contributes to customer satisfaction.

Job Requirements

• Great customer service skills & motivation to be successful.
• Able to multi-task.
• Able to communicate persuasively with customers in person, and via phone and internet to set appointments, discuss options.
• Be able to create and maintain customer relationships.
• Excellent computer skills required.
• Experience with Auto Alert software preferred
• Excellent phone presence.
• Knowledgeable to call center environment.
• Automotive experience is helpful but not required.
• Great communication skills
• Team Player
• Willingness to undergo a background check in accordance with local law/regulations
• 18+ years of age or older to comply with the company driving policy
