Job summary

Ed Napleton Honda in Oak Lawn seeks an Internet Sales Consultant – Auto Alert to handle incoming and outgoing internet leads, phone calls, and emails in a fast-paced environment.

This role offers growth within a large automotive group, with a potential pay range of $50,000-$60,000+ per year, plus paid training and benefits.

Responsibilities include following up on leads, scheduling appointments, and guiding customers through vehicle options, financing, and benefits of Auto Alert software.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and motivation to succeed.
• Able to multitask.
• Able to communicate persuasively with customers in person, by phone, and via internet to set appointments.
• Create and maintain customer relationships.
• Excellent computer skills.
• Experience with Auto Alert software preferred.
• Excellent phone presence.
• Knowledge of call center environments.
• Automotive experience is helpful but not required.
• Great communication skills.
• Team player.
• Willingness to undergo a background check in accordance with local laws.
• 18+ years of age or older to comply with driving policy.

Responsibilities

• Mine Auto Alert database to identify customers over mileage on lease or older vehicles pending costly repairs where a new vehicle purchase may make sense.
• Prospect follow-up calls, set appointments for sales, and gauge customer satisfaction.
• Contact customers based on current marketing incentives.
• Meet customers in service to discuss new/used car options vs. repair cost.
• Follow-up with existing and potential customers to generate leads and close sales.
• Explain product performance, options and benefits to prospects and describe all optional equipment.
• Follow-up in a manner that results in the customer visiting the dealership.
• Follow up on all unsold customers and special requests to meet expectations.
• Maintain a prospect and owner follow-up system that encourages repeat and referral business.
