Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking a Client Relationship Consultant to build lasting relationships with customers through in-person, by appointment, and virtual channels.

You will assess banking needs, explain deposit and loan products, open accounts, and guide clients with a digital-first mindset to enhance the customer experience. The role requires strong communication, reliability, and a willingness to educate clients on self-service tools.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Typically 3–4 years of retail banking experience or a combination of experience and training.
• Proven ability to build and foster relationships with clients through proactive outreach and follow up.
• Ability to effectively engage and communicate with clients.
• Thorough knowledge of applicable bank policies, procedures and support systems.
• Experience with using and demonstrating digital products and self-service technologies.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with clients across channels and provide the best possible counsel.
• Identify solutions for new and existing clients based on their needs with a digital-first mindset.
• Open new consumer and business accounts and process service requests.
• Educate clients on digital products and self-service tools.
• Collaborate with branch team to serve clients and process basic transactions.
• Process credit applications and ensure accuracy in client data.
