Job summary

HDR, Inc. is seeking a Digital Automation Intern in Omaha, NE. You will collaborate with the technical team to support and maintain development, assist in enhancements and integrations, and help troubleshoot technical issues.

Preferred candidates are pursuing CS/IT degrees with experience in Power Platform, strong analytical and communication skills, and a willingness to learn in a collaborative, employee-owned environment.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program.
  • Preferred exposure to low-code/no-code development via Power Platform.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the technical team to support and maintain development.
  • Assist in developing, testing, and implementing enhancements, customizations, and integrations.
  • Participate in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
  • Contribute to documentation of technical processes, configurations, and system changes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and provide technical solutions.

In the role of Digital Automation Intern, we'll count on you to:

  • Collaborate with the technical team to support and maintain development
  • Assist in developing, testing, and implementing enhancements, customizations, and integrations.
  • Participate in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related.
  • Contribute to the documentation of technical processes, configurations, and system changes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and provide technical solutions for business challenges.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Experience with low-code/no-code development using Microsoft Power Platform
  • Exposure to agentic AI models, AI-driven workflows, and emerging technologies that enable intelligent automation and modern work
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and willingness to learn from experienced professionals.
  • Local candidates preferred
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
