Job summary

HDR is seeking a Software Development Intern in Omaha, NE. You will collaborate with the technical team to support and maintain development, assist in creating enhancements, and help troubleshoot technical issues while contributing to documentation and cross-functional collaboration.

The role targets students currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in CS/IT, with familiarity in PL/SQL, Java, or Python. Local candidates are preferred, and strong communication is valued.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and provide technical solutions for business challenges.

In the role of Software Development Intern, we'll count on you to:

  • Collaborate with the technical team to support and maintain development
  • Assist in developing, testing, and implementing enhancements, customizations, and integrations.
  • Participate in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related.
  • Contribute to the documentation of technical processes, configurations, and system changes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and provide technical solutions for business challenges.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Familiarity with programming languages like PL/SQL, Java, or Python is advantageous.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and willingness to learn from experienced professionals.
  • Local candidates preferred
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
