Job summary

The Buffalo News, a publication of Lee Enterprises, is seeking an energetic Business Development Executive to drive digital multi-media account growth for new and existing clients. You will prospect, develop, and close leads, presenting tailored advertising solutions across print, display, search, and social channels.

This role requires a proven track record in digital advertising, strong communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to work on site with clients and the team in Buffalo.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, or equivalent.
• 3+ years in Sales, preferably in Digital Advertising.
• Proven experience growing sales revenue with existing and new business.
• Experience with digital advertising tech and 3rd party research like Google Analytics.

Responsibilities

• Achieve sales goals through creative strategies and client discovery.
• Develop advertising plans with local business owners.
• Present marketing solutions across print, display, SEO, and social media.
• Conduct cold calls and prospect new advertisers via multiple channels.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver advertising solutions.
