Job summary

The University of Dayton is hiring a Digital Accessibility and Change Management Specialist to guide campus staff in making websites, documents, and multimedia accessible per WCAG standards. The role sits in UDit and shapes communications and adoption of new technology across the campus.

The successful candidate will develop and deliver training, coordinate accessibility initiatives, and partner with IT service management to ensure consistent documentation and stakeholder readiness for change.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or three years of relevant experience.
• Strong knowledge of WCAG and accessibility standards.
• Experience in organizational change, stakeholder engagement, and clear communications.
• Ability to translate technical information into clear messages.
• Preferred: ITIL Foundations, Prosci or similar change management training, higher education experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate campus-wide digital accessibility training and guidance for websites, documents, multimedia, and other content.
• Develop and run change management activities and communications to prepare the campus for technology changes.
• Support UDit service management and community engagement work with the Director of Service Management and Community Engagement.
• Deliver technology training and help establish consistent internal documentation practices.
