Job summary

Ascension Living in Chattanooga, TN, seeks a nutrition services professional to lead wellness initiatives and provide clinical nutrition care in a community-centered setting. The role emphasizes guiding lifestyle changes, conducting assessments, and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team within the Alexian PACE facility.

The position requires the RD credential, BLS, and a background in geriatric nutrition.

Qualifications

• Required credential: Dietitian/Nutritionist credentialed from the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
• Preferred credential: BLS Provider (American Heart Association or American Red Cross).
• Education: High school diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable experience.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• Required Credential(s):
  • Dietitian/Nutritionist credentialed from the Commission on Dietetic Registration obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
• Preferred Credential(s):
  • BLS Provider. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education

• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

Additional Preferences

• One year of geriatric work experience
• License in TN
• Clean Fingerprinting record
