Job summary

Healthcare Services Group, Inc. is seeking a Dietary Services Department Manager to lead the dining program at a long-term care site. You will ensure high food quality, safety, and regulatory compliance while guiding the food service team to deliver exceptional resident experiences.

The role requires CDM certification, an associate or higher in food service management, and prior supervisory experience. You will manage records, train staff, and coordinate with client managers to maintain service

Qualifications

• CDM certification required.
• Associate’s degree or higher in food service management or hospitality coursework preferred.
• Two years of experience in quantity food production/service and personnel supervision preferred.
• Must obtain Food Protection Manager (FPM) within 14 days of employment.
• Must obtain Food Service Manager (FSM) and LTC-FSM certifications within 60 days.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the food service team to meet quality and safety standards.
• Maintain records of income, expenditures, food supplies, personnel, and equipment using HCSG software.
• Conduct staff training and quality control; perform roles of dietary aide, cook, and dishwasher as needed.
• Communicate directives from client managers, building occupants, and administrators to staff.
• Follow infection control and handwashing procedures to maintain a sanitary environment.
• Maintain attendance, punctuality, and timely completion of tasks.
• Represent HCSG positively through interactions with supervisors, staff, residents and guests.
