Job summary

Caring Professionals, Inc. is seeking a Dietary Manager to oversee the facility's food service operations and ensure nutrition plans for residents are met. You will supervise staff, manage menus, and coordinate with a clinical dietician to maintain regulatory compliance and quality standards.

Responsibilities include documenting intakes and resident notes, supervising meal service, and preparing periodic reports on meals, costs, and inventory. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Dietary Manager’s Certificate; if not certified at hire, enroll within 90 days and complete within 18 months.
• 2 years of food supervision in long term care preferred but not required.
• Computer experience is a plus; strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Meets new resident and family for individual dietary information.
• Formulates menus and supervises preparation and serving of food to residents.
• Determines diet, establishes portions, and adjusts for nutritional needs.
• Inspects quantity, quality, temperature and appearance of food before serving.
• Keeps records and compiles reports on meals served, menus, and food costs.
• Charts resident dietary changes discussed in care conferences.
