Job summary

Hearthstone is seeking a Dietary Aide to support kitchen operations, assist with serving, and help maintain sanitary dining areas. You will learn the food service routine quickly, strip and wash dishes, and ensure the kitchen runs smoothly during shifts.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, ability to read procedures, and a food handlers' certificate. Lifting up to 50 pounds and teamwork are essential.

Responsibilities

• Learn food service routine quickly and assist in serving meals.
• Strip down returned trays and wash dishes; operate dishwasher.
• Check chlorine concentration and water temp of dishwashing machine at shift start.
• Prepare nourishments and snacks; sweep and mop kitchen; manage waste.
• Maintain clean surfaces, refrigerators, and floors; participate in staff training.
• Work cooperatively with all departments and report to Cook or dietary supervisor.
