• Strip down returned trays and start washing dishes.
• Check and record chlorine concentration and water temperature of the dishwashing machine.
• Observe water temperatures during dishwashing cycles and operate the dishwasher.
• Prepare nourishments and snacks; carry out trash and clean work surfaces and refrigerators.
• Sweep, mop, and maintain kitchen floors; keep pantry organized and clean.
• Assist with orientation and training of dietary staff; work cooperatively with other departments.
