Position: Dietary Manager (CDM)

Position Highlights:

• Plans, directs, and supervises all dietary functions and staff.
• Responsible for the preparation and service of nutritious meals, considering special diet requirements and individual preferences. Responsible for obtaining menu approval if not a Registered Dietitian.
• Handles food and supply purchases, maintains cost records, and participates in budget planning to meet financial guidelines.
• Oversees equipment purchases, maintains equipment records, reports issues for maintenance, and prepares preventive maintenance schedules.
• Interviews, hires, trains, and manages dietary staff, including scheduling and performance reviews.

Job Type: Full Time

Experience:

• At least one year of administrative experience is helpful but not required.
• At least one year of clinical experience is helpful but not required.
• May require a Food Handlers Certificate or Sanitation Course, as per state regulations.
• May need to be licensed or certified according to state guidelines.
