Job summary

The Waters of Muncie is seeking a Certified Dietary Manager to lead the food services department in our senior living community. You will oversee daily operations, guide cooks and dietary aides, manage inventory, and ensure meals meet high quality and dietary standards.

As the leader of the dietary team, you will develop menus, coordinate with the culinary staff, and maintain records while ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and policies.

Qualifications

• CDM certification required.
• Experience in dietary or food service within healthcare preferred.
• Ability to lead a diverse team and manage daily operations.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and serve meals, including special diets.

About the Role

As a Dietary Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our dietary department, ensuring that our residents receive high-quality meals and exceptional service in our healthcare facility. You will be the leader of a dynamic team of cooks, servers, and dietary aides, providing guidance and support to ensure that our food service standards are met. Additionally, you will be responsible for managing food inventory, ordering supplies, and maintaining accurate records.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct a team of dietary staff, providing guidance and training as needed
