Holton Manor Dietary Manager Job Description

Holton Manor has a unique full-time opportunity for a long-term care Dietary Manager. We are located in beautiful Elkhorn, Wisconsin, and have a reputation for providing quality care to seniors in Walworth County and surrounding communities.

If you are not certified as a Dietary Manager, we will pay for you to obtain your certification.

As the Dietary Manager, you are responsible for the direction, implementation, and supervision of all meal service and nutritional support for residents, following applicable federal, state, and local regulations, as well as corporate policies and procedures. This position also involves providing a quality assurance program to ensure therapeutic nutritional requirements are met with a variety of flavorful meals, snacks, and supplements, while maintaining sanitation, safety, and cost control.

This position requires:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Accreditation as a Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) or current enrollment in an approved CDM course with eligibility to take the exam upon course completion
• Sanitation certification
• Valid WI Driver's License
• A strong desire to work with the elderly
• Proficiency in English, with strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferred qualifications include:

• Previous experience in long-term care management in food service
• Supervisory experience
