Live Well Healthcare Solutions in Massachusetts is seeking a talented cook with experience in high-volume meals for a Skilled Nursing Facility. You will prepare breakfast, lunch, and dinner following standardized recipes and maintain quality.

You will lead plating, uphold sanitation, manage inventory, and support the Dietary Manager during absences, while accommodating special events and dietary needs.

Responsabilités

• Meal preparation following standardized recipes for breakfast, lunch and dinner
• Plate and garnish cooked items for attractive presentation
• Serve as liaison for the Dietary Manager during their absence to ensure seamless meal prep
• Maintain high sanitation standards in the kitchen and on equipment
• Manage inventory, stock rotation, and assist with purchasing and recipe development
• Handle last-minute requests for special events and facility functions

Position Overview & Key Responsibilities

We are seeking a talented, classically trained Cook experienced in high-volume culinary operations to join our team at a Skilled Nursing Facility.

• Meal Preparation & Culinary Excellence: Accurately and efficiently prepare, portion, and cook a variety of nutritious meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner following standardized recipes.
• Plating & Presentation: Plate and garnish all cooked items expertly to ensure an attractive menu presentation.
• Leadership Support: Act as a liaison for the Dietary Manager during their absence to ensure seamless meal prep and delivery.
• Kitchen Sanitation: Maintain high sanitation standards by thoroughly cleaning the kitchen and all culinary equipment before and after food service.
• Inventory & Recipe Management: Manage inventory, handle stock rotation, assist with purchasing, and ensure recipe development and compliance.
• Special Events: Flexibly handle last-minute culinary requests for special events and facility functions.
