Live Well Healthcare Solutions is seeking a skilled Dietary Cook for a Nursing Facility in Fall River. The role emphasizes high-volume meal production, precise plating, and maintaining kitchen standards to ensure nutritious, appealing meals for residents.

The cook will support the Dietary Manager in their absence, manage inventory, and adapt to special event needs while ensuring compliance with sanitation and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Classically trained Cook with experience in high-volume culinary operations.
• Ability to accurately prepare, portion, and cook meals following standardized recipes.
• Strong plating and presentation skills to meet menu standards.

Responsibilities

• Meal Preparation & Culinary Excellence: prepare, portion, and cook meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner per recipes.
• Plating & Presentation: garnish cooked items for attractive menu presentation.
• Leadership Support: act as a liaison for the Dietary Manager during their absence to ensure meal prep and delivery.
• Kitchen Sanitation: maintain sanitation standards and clean kitchen and equipment.
• Inventory & Recipe Management: manage inventory, rotate stock, assist with purchasing, and support recipe development.
• Special Events: handle last-minute culinary requests for events and facility functions.

Position Overview & Key Responsibilities

We are seeking a talented, classically trained Cook experienced in high-volume culinary operations to join our team at a Skilled Nursing Facility.

• Meal Preparation & Culinary Excellence: Accurately and efficiently prepare, portion, and cook a variety of nutritious meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner following standardized recipes.
• Plating & Presentation: Plate and garnish all cooked items expertly to ensure an attractive menu presentation.
• Leadership Support: Act as a liaison for the Dietary Manager during their absence to ensure seamless meal prep and delivery.
• Kitchen Sanitation: Maintain high sanitation standards by thoroughly cleaning the kitchen and all culinary equipment before and after food service.
• Inventory & Recipe Management: Manage inventory, handle stock rotation, assist with purchasing, and ensure recipe development and compliance.
• Special Events: Flexibly handle last-minute culinary requests for special events and facility functions.
