Job summary

Pruitthealth Corporation is seeking a Cook-Dietary Aide in Vidalia, GA to assist with meal preparation for residents in accordance with dietary guidelines and state/federal regulations.

The role supports the Diet/Dietary Manager in menu execution, food safety, and efficient serving. Candidates should have a high school diploma and at least 1 year of institutional food service experience as a cook; long-term care experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year institutional food service experience as a cook.
• Experience in long term care food production preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist cook in meal preparation, including salads, desserts, and between-meal nourishments.
• Serve nourishments and deliver trays to residents.
• Properly store leftovers and follow infection control procedures.
• Assist with supervision of kitchen staff and maintain clean work areas.
• Record temperatures and maintain dishwasher and sanitation levels.
• Prepare substitutes to accommodate resident dietary preferences.
