Job summary

PruittHealth in Georgia is seeking a Cook - Dietary Aide HCC to support nutritionally sound meals for residents. You will assist with meal preparation, assemble trays, and ensure foods are served at proper temperatures and times in accordance with dietary guidelines.

Responsibilities include assisting with menu substitutions, maintaining sanitation, documenting temperatures, and helping supervise kitchen staff while following infection control policies and state regulations.

Qualifications

• Sufficient education to demonstrate functional literacy.
• A minimum of one (1) year institutional food service experience as a cook.
• Experience in long term care food production is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with meal preparation for patients/residents and between-meal nourishments.
• Serve nourishments and record substitutions per guidelines.
• Properly store leftovers and opened food after meals.
• Follow procedures for serving partner meals and maintain safety standards.
• Record temperatures and maintain dishwashing and sanitation routines.
