PruittHealth in Atlanta, GA is seeking a Cook - Dietary with experience to support daily meal preparation for residents. The role emphasizes adherence to dietary plans, proper food handling, and timely service in a hospital-like setting.

You will assist in meal preparation, supervise portions, and ensure safety and cleanliness throughout the kitchen and dining areas. Experience in institutional food service is preferred and continuity of care for residents is essential.

Qualifications

• Sufficient education to demonstrate functional literacy.
• A minimum of one (1) year institutional food service experience as a cook.

Responsabilités

• Assists cook in the preparation of meals, salads, desserts, snacks for patients/residents.
• Serves nourishments and records menu substitutions as needed.
• Cleans tables and dining area after meals and maintains clean work areas.
• Prepares and stores leftovers, ensures proper storage temperatures and safety procedures.
• Operates dishwashing equipment and assists with basic food service equipment.
• Maintains supply stock and assists with tray line setup and service.
• Follows safety, infection control, and universal precautions in all tasks.
