Job summary

PruittHealth in Georgia is seeking a Cook - Dietary Aide HCC to support food preparation and meal service for residents. You will work under the Food Service/Dietary Manager to ensure meals are nutritious, appetizing and served at the right temperatures.

Qualifications

• Sufficient education to demonstrate functional literacy.
• A minimum of one (1) year institutional food service experience as a cook.
• Experience in long term care food production is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with meal preparation for patients/residents.
• Serve nourishments and ensure proper portioning.
• Store leftovers and food safely.
• Follow infection control and safety procedures.
• Set up tray lines and deliver trays.
• Operate dish machine and kitchen equipment.
• Record temperatures and maintain dishwashing stations.
• Assist with supervising kitchen staff and inventory.
• Follow recipes and prepare meals per dietitian cycles.
