Job summary

Atrium Centers Riverside Nursing & Rehabilitation Community is seeking a dedicated Cook to nourish residents with meals that meet dietary needs and support a warm dining experience. You’ll work under the Dietary Supervisor, ensuring consistency, quality, and adherence to facility policies while keeping the kitchen clean and organized.

Requirements include at least 1 year of cooking for large groups, preferably in long-term care or institutional settings, along with strong communication,

Qualifications

• Minimum of one (1) year cooking experience for a large group; long-term care or institutional experience preferred
• Ability to scale and quantify recipes to meet facility needs
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Service-oriented mindset with a willingness to learn
• Positive, dependable, and team-focused attitude
• Excellent attendance and reliability

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals according to resident diet specifications and menu plans
• Follow direction from the Dietary Supervisor to ensure consistency and quality
• Comply with all facility dietary policies, procedures, and sanitary regulations
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen environment
• Ensure proper food handling, storage, and portion control
• Support timely meal service for residents
