Job summary

Atrium Centers is seeking a Cook to nourish residents through thoughtfully prepared meals that meet dietary specifications while supporting a warm, welcoming dining experience. As an employee-owned team member, you’ll follow menus, scale recipes, and maintain a clean, safe kitchen to ensure timely meal service and high quality for our residents.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one (1) year cooking experience for a large group; long-term care or institutional experience preferred.
• Ability to scale and quantify recipes to meet facility needs.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Service-oriented mindset with a willingness to learn.
• Positive, dependable, and team-focused attitude.
• Excellent attendance and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals according to resident diet specifications and menu plans.
• Follow direction from the Dietary Supervisor to ensure consistency and quality.
• Comply with all facility dietary policies, procedures, and sanitary regulations.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen environment.
• Ensure proper food handling, storage, and portion control.
• Support timely meal service for residents.
