Job summary

North Ridge Health and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a dedicated Dietary Cook to prepare and serve meals for residents, ensuring adherence to menus and dietary requirements. You will work with a skilled team to maintain a clean kitchen and provide nourishing, well-presented dishes.

Hours are 11:30AM-7:00PM, with opportunities for growth and career advancement within a supportive, team-oriented workplace. Prior kitchen and food service experience is valued.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals, snacks, and special dietary needs for our residents in accordance with our menu and dietary requirements
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, adhering to strict safety and sanitation standards
• Monitor food inventory, ordering and stocking supplies as needed
• Collaborate with our registered dietitian and other food service team members to ensure resident food preferences and dietary restrictions are met
• Develop and implement creative and nutritious menu options for our residents
• Participate in meal service and ensure excellent presentation and plating of food
• Maintain accurate records of food preparation, inventory, and resident preferences
