Oakhurst Health & Rehab– Fork Union, VA is seeking a Part-Time Cook to join our Dietary team. If you love cooking and take pride in creating meals that make residents feel at home, we’d love to meet you!

Responsibilities include preparing meals per menus and dietary guidelines, ensuring proper temperature and presentation, and maintaining kitchen cleanliness and safety. Night shift and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior experience as a cook in healthcare, hospitality, or restaurant setting preferred.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures required.
• Ability to read and follow recipes and dietary instructions.
• Dependable, team-oriented, and able to work independently on night shift.
