Job summary

Dockside Health & Rehab Center in Locust Hill, VA is seeking a full-time dietary aide to prepare meals per resident diet specs, following safety and sanitation rules and community procedures.

You will work 6:00a–2:00p or 12:00p–8:00p with wage of $18.00 per hour, and enjoy benefits, PTO, tuition assistance, and a supportive, family-like team environment. This role emphasizes quality meals, teamwork with the dietary director, and compliance with state food handler requirements.

Qualifications

• Must be a high school graduate or equivalent is required.
• Must possess a working knowledge of the fundamentals of food safety and sanitation.
• Must meet and remain current with state specific requirements for food handler training.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food in accordance with prescribed resident diet specifications, community procedures, and food safety and sanitation regulations, under the supervision of the Food Service Director.
• Follow health, sanitary and infection control policies and maintain established standards of practice set forth by the community's administration and Dietary Policies and Procedures.
