Responsibilities include preparing meals per menus and dietary guidelines, ensuring proper temperature and presentation, and maintaining kitchen cleanliness and safety. Night shift and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior experience as a cook in healthcare, hospitality, or restaurant setting preferred.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures required.
• Ability to read and follow recipes and dietary instructions.
• Dependable, team-oriented, and able to work independently on night shift.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to menus, recipes, and dietary guidelines.
• Ensure meals are served on time and at the proper temperature and presentation.
• Follow portion control and safe food-handling practices.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and equipment in compliance with health and safety standards.
• Assist with inventory, food storage, and supply rotation.
• Work collaboratively with the Dietary Manager and team to meet resident needs and preferences.
