PACS is seeking a Dietary Aide for a full-time position at a post-acute facility. Pay range is $17.48-$17.50 per hour BOE. You will learn the food service routine, set up meal trays, assist with serving meals, and maintain dishwashing operations.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, ability to read procedures and recipes, and a valid food handlers certificate. The job is physically demanding: standing, lifting up to 50 pounds, and clean, sanitary kitchen practices.

• Observe dishwasher water temperatures during cycles.
• Operate dishwasher.
• Prepare nourishments and snacks.
• Sweep and mop kitchen.
• Carry out trash and garbage.
• Store groceries safely.
• Keep kitchen clean and sanitary, assist cook or dietary supervisor.
• Clean work surfaces and refrigerators.
• Sweep, mop, maintain floors.
• Participate in orientation and training of dietary staff.
• Work cooperatively with personnel in all departments.
