Job summary

PACS is seeking a Dietary Aide General Purpose to support meal preparation and service in a post-acute care environment. You will assist with tray assembly, meal delivery, and sanitation while following safety protocols.

The role emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and willingness to learn, with potential training for food service duties and certificates as needed. This is a patient-centered position in a low-to-moderate noise setting.

Qualifications

• Must be reliable and team-oriented in a resident-centered environment.
• Food safety and sanitation awareness is expected.
• Experience in food service is helpful but training may be provided.

Responsibilities

• Assist with meal and snack preparation as directed.
• Assemble trays, portion items, and help with meal service.
• Deliver meals to resident rooms and dining areas with care and attention.
• Wash dishes, clean equipment, and maintain sanitation standards.
• Stock and rotate supplies using safe storage practices.
• Follow food safety guidelines, allergy precautions, and infection control procedures.
• Communicate needs, concerns, or changes to the Dietary Manager.
