Job summary

PACS Group is seeking a Dietary Aide in Clearwater, FL. This role supports the kitchen and dietary supervisor, learning food service routines, setting up meal trays, and maintaining a clean, sanitary kitchen environment.

The position requires reading and following recipes, basic math for measurements, and ability to lift up to 50 pounds with frequent standing and walking. A food handlers’ certificate is required, with the potential for DOE pay.

Qualifications

• Must obtain and maintain a food handlers’ certificate.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to read and follow recipes and technical procedures.
• Ability to apply fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions.

Responsibilities

• Set up meal trays.
• Strip and wash returned trays and dishes.
• Assist with serving different meals.
• Check chlorine concentration and water temperature of the dishwasher.
• Observe dishwasher water temperatures during cycles.
• Operate dishwasher.
• Prepare nourishments and snacks.
• Sweep and mop kitchen floors.
• Carry groceries to storage and keep areas clean and safe.
• Maintain cleanliness of work surfaces and refrigerators.
