Job summary

Responsibilities

• Learn food service routines.
• Set up meal trays.
• Strip down returned trays and start washing dishes.
• Assist with serving meals.
• Check and record dishwasher parameters (chlorine concentration and water temperature).
• Observe dishwasher cycles and operate the dishwasher.
• Prepare nourishments and snacks.
• Sweep and mop the kitchen.
• Carry out trash and garbage disposal.
• Store groceries safely and neatly.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness after shifts.
• Participate in orientation and training of dietary staff.
