Job summary

Clearwater Center is seeking a Dietary Aide to support kitchen operations, meal service, and sanitation in a Florida facility. You will learn food service routines quickly, set up meal trays, and assist with washing dishes while ensuring a clean and safe kitchen environment.

Responsibilities include recording dishwashing parameters, assisting with nourishments, and supporting the dietary supervisor. Must have a high school diploma or equivalent and food handlers’ certificate.

Qualifications

• Food handlers’ certificate required or obtainable.
• Ability to read and follow recipes.

Responsibilities

• Set up meal trays and assist with serving meals.
• Operate dishwasher and maintain clean kitchen area.
• Prepare nourishments and snacks.
• Maintain cleanliness of work surfaces, refrigerators and floors.
• Record chlorine concentration and water temperature of dishwasher.
• Assist with trash and garbage disposal.
• Participate in orientation and training of dietary staff.
