Job summary

PACS in the United States is seeking a Dietary Aide General Purpose to support the dietary team, set up meal trays, and assist with service while maintaining a clean, sanitary kitchen.

The role requires reading and following recipes, learning routines quickly, and participating in ongoing training. You will report to the Cook and Dietary supervisor and work with staff across departments to ensure safe, efficient meal service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Food handlers' certificate must be obtained and maintained.
• Ability to read and follow recipes and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Set up meal trays and assist with serving meals.
• Strip and wash dishes and operate the dishwasher.
• Prepare nourishments and snacks and maintain kitchen cleanliness.
• Record and monitor dishwashing chemical concentration and water temperature.
• Participate in orientation and ongoing training of dietary staff.
