Job summary

PACS Group is seeking a Dietary Aide General Purpose to support kitchen operations in a healthcare setting. The role reports to the Cook and Dietary supervisor and involves learning food service routines, preparing nourishments, setting up meal trays, and assisting with dishwashing and sanitation tasks.

Responsibilities include following recipes, maintaining clean work areas, and contributing to the training of dietary staff while working cooperatively with other departments.

Qualifications

• Must be able to learn food service routine within a short period.
• Ability to read and follow recipes.
• Ability to read technical procedures.

Responsibilities

• Set up meal trays.
• Operate dishwasher.
• Assist with serving meals.
• Carry out trash and garbage; clean work surfaces and refrigerators.
• Keep kitchen area sanitary and organized.
