Job summary

Pasadena Post Acute seeks a dietary aide to support food service operations in our facility. You will learn routines quickly, set up meal trays, assist with serving meals, and help maintain a clean, sanitary kitchen.

You will operate the dishwasher, check water temperatures and chlorine levels, prepare nourishments, and assist the cook or dietary supervisor as needed. A food handlers' certificate is required and physical stamina is important.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and follow recipes.
• Able to present information and respond to questions from managers and employees.

Responsibilities

• Learn food service routines quickly and set up meal trays.
• Strip down returned trays and wash dishes; operate dishwasher.
• Assist with serving meals and check dishwashing parameters.
• Prepare nourishments and snacks; keep kitchen clean and sanitary.
• Record chlorine concentration and water temperature of dishwashing machine.
