Job summary

Windsor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center of Weslaco is seeking a Dietary Aide to assist in food preparation, meal service, and dining room cleanup. You will work under the Certified Dietary Manager and adhere to state guidelines.

The ideal candidate has a High School diploma or equivalent and a Texas Food Handler Certificate; prior kitchen experience is preferred. This is a full-time position located in Weslaco, TX.

Qualifications

• Texas Food Handler Certificate required.
• Experience in a commercial kitchen preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food prep and cooking following universal precautions and state/federal regulations.
• Preparing and serving beverages.
• Setting up and passing trays for meal service.

• Bussing of tables and trays.
• Cleaning the kitchen work area.
• Dishwashing.
• Follow proper handwashing guidelines.
• Additional special projects or tasks can be assigned by the CDM or Executive Director.

Primary Responsibilities

The Dietary Aide follows the direction of the Certified Dietary Manager and state guidelines to ensure that food is properly prepared, served to residents, and after meals are completed cleanup of the dining hall and dishes.

• Preparing and serving beverages
