Job summary

Regency Integrated Health Services is hiring a Dietary Aide for Windsor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center of Harlingen in Harlingen, TX. The position is full-time with a flex shift, supporting dining services for residents under the direction of the CDM.

You will assist with food prep, tray setup, beverage service, and maintaining a clean kitchen and dining area, following state guidelines. Healthcare facility experience preferred; Texas Food Handler Certificate required.

Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
Texas Food Handler Certificate required.
Commercial kitchen experience preferred.

Primary Responsibilities

The Dietary Aide follows the direction of the Certified Dietary Manager and state guidelines to ensure that food is properly prepared, served to residents, and after meals are completed cleanup of the dining hall and dishes.

Essential Functions

Assist with food prep and cooking following universal precautions and state/federal regulations
Preparing and serving beverages
Setting up and passing trays for meal service
Stocking snack cart
Bussing of tables and trays
Cleaning the kitchen work area
Dishwashing
Follow proper handwashing guidelines
Additional special projects or tasks can be assigned at times by the CDM or the Executive Director

Licensing Requirements
