Job summary

Southbrooke Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Edna, TX is seeking a PRN Dietary Aide to support our residents with meals and dining services.

You will follow the guidance of the Certified Dietary Manager and adhere to state guidelines to ensure foods are prepared, served, and dining areas cleaned after meals.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must have Texas Food Handler Certificate.
• Working in a commercial kitchen experience is preferred.

• Preparing and serving beverages.
• Setting up and passing trays for meal service.
• Stocking snack cart.
• bussing of tables and trays.

The Dietary Aide follows the direction of the Certified Dietary Manager and state guidelines to ensure that food is properly prepared, served to residents, and after meals are completed cleanup of the dining hall and dishes.

• Assist with food prep and cooking following universal precautions and state/federal regulations
• Preparing and serving beverages
• Setting up and passing trays for meal service
