Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Set up, deliver, and serve food as directed.
• Serve meals that are palatable, visually appealing, and in accordance with portion control procedures, in a timely manner.
• Prepare kitchen, food, and supplies for the next meal.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment, including returning utensils to proper storage and cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, and dishwashing.
• Assist in preparing drink carts and setting up snacks.
• Wash dishes and trays after meals.
• Support the Cook during meal times by ensuring trays have correct meals, utensils, and beverages.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Food handling or dietary aide experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to create a warm, patient, enthusiastic, and cheerful environment.
• Must obtain a Food Handler’s Card within 30 days of employment.
