Job Summary

The Dietary Aide position ensures the sanitary conditions of the cooking and dining areas. This position helps to assemble meal trays and assists in preparation and serving of meals to our residents.

• Part-time
• On-call

Responsibilities

• Take down dining areas and collect plates, glasses, etc.
• Assist Cook in preparing meals
• Deliver meals to resident rooms or tables and set up meal trays according to dietary orders and tray cards
• Clean utensils, dishes, and pots and pans by operating the dishwasher or handwashing
• Partner with dietary staff to ensure equipment is functioning properly and at the correct temperature
• Stock ingredients and monitor inventory
• Perform other duties as assigned or needed
