Bedford Care Center of Mendenhall in Mississippi is seeking a dedicated Dietary Aide to assist with food preparation, service, and kitchen cleanliness, ensuring meals meet resident diets and preferences.

You will work with a team to support daily meal service, stock supplies, and follow safety and sanitation standards. On-the-job training is provided, and drug screening plus background checks are required. Full-time position with benefits.

Qualifikationen

• Must be able to read and write at a level necessary to accomplish job duties.
• Must be able to pass drug screen and have a satisfactory Criminal History Background Check.

Aufgaben

• Assist with checking in groceries and supplies, storing food, and other duties as instructed.
• Assist in preparation, set ups, serving meals, snacks, drinks and loading food carts.
• Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, floors, dishes and utensils in the Dietary Department and Dining Rooms.
• Assist in checking food trays for menu and diet accuracy and Residents’ preferences.
• Assist with proper storage of foods and supplies and communicate regarding availability.
• Assist with cooking and operating dishwasher or other duties as assigned.
• Deliver food carts to Nursing Stations for service of meals.

Job Summary:

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assists with checking in groceries, other supplies, storing food, other duties as instructed
• Assists in the preparation, set ups and serving meals, snacks, drinks and loading food carts
• Cleans and sanitizes work areas, equipment, floors, dishes, utensils, dishwashing area and any other areas in the Dietary Department or Dining Rooms as needed
• Assists in checking food trays for menu and diet accuracy and for Resident’s preferences
• Assists with proper storage of foods and supplies and communication regarding food and supplies availability
• Assists with cooking, operating dishwasher or other duties as requested and/or assigned
• Delivers food carts to Nursing Stations for service of meals
